Cross-Cultural Awareness

Cross-cultural awareness is absolutely crucial when connecting people around the globe. Within PricewaterhouseCoopers cross-cultural thinking is more than just a concept as we facilitate all kinds of international contacts between people from different backgrounds, countries and cultures.

Our people are constantly encouraged to get international exposure within our network. Our global organization present in 144 countries and represented by 122,000 professionals is clearly an ideal environment to take up to global challenges and to develop solutions to international issues. The growing interest for international mobility is a clear sign of our people's open-mindedness to get to know other environments and cultures in order to adapt their thinking to our clients' needs.

With the creation of the PwC Check-In project we want to go a step further in our cross-cultural awareness approach by giving young students the opportunity to gain international experience. An early international experience is crucial to understand the implications of a globalizing economic world.

This results to a personal enrichment for our people. Through welcoming people with different ideas and values our network will get some "new blood" in the understanding of international concepts. Making connections beyond boundaries and between different countries and markets help us in providing innovative thinking, which is what we call Connected Thinking.
